Janet Van Dyne was born to Vernon van Dyne, a wealthy scientist, and spent most of her childhood as a light-headed, conceited dilettante. However, she eventually found a purpose as the Wasp, Ant-Man's partner in the world of heroics.
Starguard[]
As Doctor Strange was plucking heroes from various realities to assist in the war, he by chance snatched Jan along with Vision. Following the team's first outing, Batman handed leadership of the team over to Wasp, much to everyone's surprise. Despite this Jan still proved to be a confident, empathic, and strong leader.
Personality[]
Jan is very lighthearted, and loves to joke around. However, she will be serious when the case demands it.

Jan and Vision are very close, being the two Avengers on the team.
Phantom Stranger[]
Jan took it upon herself to help the Stranger in his recover effort, and he as grown very fond of her.
Batman[]
Bruce Wayne sees much potential in Jan, and selected her as team leader. the two hold much respect for each other.
Metron[]
Metron predicted the entire roster of Starguard- excpet jan. Now he is partially obsessed with her death and dissection so he can discover the reason for this mistake.
